  • Can ReWASD enable paddles via Apollo (Moonlight) plugged into Nvidia Shield Pro?

I have an Xbox Elite V2 controller plugged in via USB to an Nvidia Shield Pro that streams games from my PC using the Apollo/Artemis (Sunshine/Moonlight) software.
While the controller works, the paddles don't and I would like to know if ReWASD can open up the paddles to the Shield or not?

    Thanks

Usually, such streaming services emulate their own virtual controller. And often it is an Xbox 360, which does not have paddles.
However, mappings on paddles should work if the controller is connected directly to the PC and remapped via reWASD.

Remapping works via the Xbox Accessories app when connected to PC as well as via reWASD.
How can I use my custom mappings (reWASD) when the controller is plugged into the Nvidia Shield?
I have tried VirtualHere, which shows the controller as active but nothing is registered (with/without VirtualHere) in the reWASD software when I press buttons etc.

All I want to do is be able to use my Xbox Elite paddles with the controller plugged into the Nvidia Shield.
      Q. Can reWASD do this for me?

The problem is indeed that the streaming software (Artemis/Moonlight) is sending the controller as an Xbox360 controller, not as a paddle enabled Elite controller.
If I allow Artemis to generate the driver (X360), reWASD recognises the controller plugged into the Shield and I can programme the buttons but I want the Elite option with paddles.
        Is this possible?

It might work if there was an option in the "magic wand" to choose the Elite with paddles, what do you think?

What you are asking for is not possible.
Mappings are not saved if you unplug the controller from the PC and connect it to the NVIDIA Shield Pro.
Also, reWASD cannot and will not emulate a virtual Elite controller.

Ok, thank you. Just to confirm reWASD is not what I need to enable paddles on the Xbox Elite controller if I want to use it plugged in to the Nvidia Shield?

You can try leaving the controller connected to the PC with reWASD and create an external virtual controller, then connect it to the NVIDIA Shield Pro using one of the methods listed.
However, I can't guarantee that this will work.
There are no other ways to achieve what you want with reWASD.

I have uninstalled it now but thank you for your help.
