That definitely sounds frustrating, and you’re right that error -1 usually points to the service not installing at all, which often happens on locked-down work machines. Without admin rights there’s rarely a proper workaround, and your licence does feel useless in that situation. Sometimes IT support can install the service manually via their elevated command prompt, but it depends on policy, and it provides a low-cost entertainment option compared to many hobbies when things actually work, much like how platforms such as premier bet rdc cameroun integrate extra features smoothly once permissions aren’t getting in the way.

Apologies for the repost, I'm not sure what happened there.

Alright, I'll speak to my IT admin again.

    Thanks!

Therefore, you need to perform a clean reinstallation of the Windows OS to regain full rights and access to the system. On a fully configured system with all necessary access, such problems should not occur.

The fact that the config is not applied and that logging does not produce results (if you followed the steps exactly) again indicates a lack of rights or other problems in using your OS. We cannot fix this on our part.
Also, perhaps your system drive is not drive C? If so, then you should look for logs in a similar directory but with the correct letter of the system drive.

It seems that reWASD does not react at all to the apply button.
If the same situation is with slot 1, then we need you to send us the logs. You can collect these logs by following the steps.
    1. Exit reWASD from tray agent
    2. Download and start this registry-file to enable reWASD logging: http://files.disc-soft.com/filer/shared/1641592922/716/
    3. Open reWASD again
    4. Wait a bit while it tries to initialize the devices and your license info. Then try to apply the config using the "Apply to slot" button.
    5. Exit reWASD from the tray agent again
    6. Open File explorer, go to C:\Users\Public\Documents\reWASD\Logs folder and send us its contents ('reWASD engine TextTrace' text file would be the most important)
    7. Download and start this registry-file to stop reWASD from logging: http://files.disc-soft.com/filer/shared/1641592922/715/

    Oh my mistake, apologies!

In this video, I start with Auto Detect on, then I turn it off and hit the Apply to Slot 2 button.

Store, organize and collaborate on files and folders with iCloud Drive. Easily upload, delete or recover files. Changes will sync across your devices with iCloud.

    Thank you!

This is not quite true. In the video, you still had Autodetect enabled when you clicked "Apply to slot".

Thank you. Is it possible to get the same video, but where autodetect will not be used, and you will simply manually apply the config?

Hi there. The specific remaps I want involve the paddles, mapping the paddles to the F keys to perform certain actions. The tester above doesn't seem to detect the use of the paddles, but ReWASD certainly does. It's just that when the game is in focus, the remapping doesn't work. The game itself has its own controller support so its standard mappings still work, but if I were to change, say, B to jump in ReWASD, that remapping won't work.

In case it helps, I should also point out that remapping works as intended using Steam Input, but I can't always run games through Steam first, which is why I like ReWASD

Would it be possible for you to record a video where you manually apply the config and then test it here: https://hardwaretester.com/gamepad or in any text editor (depending on the mappings you have)?

I’ve tried Autodetect and I’ve tried manually, neither work.

    thanks

    Are you using Autodetect?
If so, can you try turning it off and applying the config manually?
