  • Problem mapping joystick to physical keyboard

I have a very strange use case and situation. I'm trying to use two Azeron Cyborg 2 as one DS4 for remote play and I've managed to make it work, but I can't access the advanced joystick settings for a response curve. The reason I can't access it is because I have the 2 cyborgs transmitting key presses with Bluetooth adapters which effectively makes them "wireless".

Rewasd sees my two keyboards and I am able to join them together and make a configuration and it works in game which is really cool, but I cannot get my cyborgs joysticks to register 100% of their movement range causing characters to not run in-game as fast as they normally would. This problem persists even connected to the PC directly.

I am unsure of how to get complete range of the joystick to work in-game since I'm probably not doing a good enough job mapping dead zones in Azeron software, and I cannot use the advance joystick features to make a custom response curve, or anything because Rewasd doesn't think I have a joystick.

Is there any way to make this work? I kind of don't understand dead zones and deflection.

The "because Rewasd doesn't think I have a joystick" part is not true. reWASD recognizes Azeron devices as gamepads.
Their sticks are recognized as gamepad sticks, so advanced settings and [Response curve] should be available for them.

I'm connecting them wirelessly to my computer so it can't be read as a Cyborg. Assume that what I actually want is to use 2 normal keyboards simultaneously as one controller. Is there a way to adjust joystick functionality if you're using WASD?

To remap sticks (analog controls) in reWASD, the device must identify itself as something that has sticks, which a "normal keyboard" does not.
This leads me to a late but essential question: How does reWASD identify your Azeron devices?
Please provide a screenshot of the reWASD window with the devices group editor open.

I've discovered the problem was myself. Although I would like to have a response curve for basic keyboard WASD movement. My controllers show up as Bluetooth devices in case you were still wondering. I am not plugging them into the computer directly. They are being interpreted by a handheld scientific bt-600 wireless Bluetooth keyboard adapter and show up as a basic keyboard.

My joysticks are set to WASD only just like a keyboard so there's no way to actually smooth out the 8 directions, but I've got it all working now so no biggie. This software is doing basically exactly what I needed it to.
