Battlefield 6 = absolutely no reWASD

BF 6 beta came out and the new javelin anti-cheat is closing down everything that could be used for an advantage - including reWASD. I got a notice on launch to close reWASD, so I did. Restarted the game, it complained again, so I have reWASD not launch on startup and restarted computer. Started BF6 and it STILL won't run saying that reWASD is running!?!? So apparently reWASD needs to be uninstalled!?!? Anybody else facing this? Found a yoututbe already with some fixes, but none of them work short of uninstalling.

So I'm at a crossroads, only use reWASD for Helldivers 2. But all EA games are going to the new javelin anticheat to shutdown everything...

Jumping in on this older post because I’m curious if anyone found a simpler workaround since then. Did anyone try fully removing the background service from Windows Services instead of just closing the app? I’ve seen some games still detect the driver even after exit. If anyone tested reinstalling reWASD after launching the game, I’d love to hear if that changed anything.

If you want to run the game without uninstalling reWASD (make sure to use the latest 9.2 version), you can try the following:

• Use the [Emergency Driver Disable] option in [Preferences > General].
• Use the [Compatibility Mode] option in [Preferences > General].

Both options are to be applied before starting the game or its launcher.

Warning: There is an unconfirmed risk of a ban in either case, so we don't recommend having reWASD installed when playing EA games for now.
