  • Where Winds Meet - Dualsense Edge Sony Paddle Issue

Where Winds Meet - Dualsense Edge Sony - Left paddle triggers R2 / Right paddle triggers L2 by default no Steam input.

    I have 2 scenarios.

    * When I bind O key to the left paddle or Square key to the right paddle in ReWASD I see that it triggers the R2/L2 and presses the O/Square key. It doesn't override the paddles R2/L2 activation.
    * I have used the default profile (even reset the controls in Playstation Accessories software) with no success.
    * It appears to work if I use Steam Input but I lose the ability to use the Function button in game. Steam input doesn't appear to have the same button setting.

    * If I use the Playstation Accessories software to set the paddles to the keys O/Square it works but ReWASD turbo doesn't work. It will only do a single activation turbo doesn't kick in. (No Steaminput enabled since it breaks the Function button.)
    * Turbo mode works for the other standard buttons.

I prefer the second scenario working with turbo since in game Function button works correctly. Any ideas?

I have the latest ReWASD and signed up for the lifetime last night to make sure it wasn't version problem.

Please check this article for details on setting up your DualSense Edge controller for use with reWASD.

However, if gaming profile on your DualSence Edge was changed, you need to reconnect to your PS5 and change profile to default to be able to remap paddles and FN button with reWASD.
Please note, that reset button doesn't help in that case.
Thanks "Support Agent" it looks like even though I reset in the PC - Playstation accessories software it's not the same as doing it on the PS5 console. Appreciate the help and I take back all the negative things I said behind you guys back! (kidding.)

Well that was short lived, for whatever reason it reverted back to the left paddle as R2 and right paddle as L2. Went through the steps to remove profile on the PS5 and that didn't fix the issue, then it started to work again (after playing around a bit.) As soon as I restarted the computer it acted up again and couldn't get it to work.

I figured I would try Bluetooth to see if something will make it work again. New issue is that the Dualsense edge wouldn't stay connected. Fixed the issue via Reddit post 5 years ago... Dualsense controller is shutting off after it connects to my PC. : r/PS5 Which involved deleting existing pairing, pair again but load Device Manager under Bluetooth and disable the dual sense asap. Now it stays connected... odd.

Still have the same problem even using Bluetooth or wired, after tinkering a bit I found out that it needs to be connected via USBC to computer first, disconnect it and connect Bluetooth it works again... I have to go through this sequence each time my computer boots up. If I tried Bluetooth first it wouldn't work, but once I switch to USBC, then disconnect it's works.
