  • Anti-Cheat backend check failed when playing Apex Legends

When playing Apex Legends with reWASD, I keep getting the error "Anti-Cheat backend check failed" after playing for a while. I’ve already closed the software before launching the game and enabled compatibility mode, but nothing works. Please release a fix as soon as possible; otherwise, my membership subscription will be a total waste. It’s really frustrating to run into this issue every once in a while.

If you've completed the following steps, we have nothing further to recommend at this time, as we don't have a complete understanding of the anti-cheat's behavior patterns:

    1. Please make sure you are using the latest version of reWASD (9.3.3.11029).
    2. Go to Preferences and ensure that 'Compatibility Mode' is enabled.
    3. Apply the config manually by clicking the 'Apply to slot' button (Autodetect must be disabled).
    4. Close reWASD completely via the tray agent (Windows system tray), and only then launch the game.

Please also note that all buttons used in the game must be remapped to the controller and have Mute applied to them.
If you switch between mouse+keyboard input and the controller, the anti-cheat system will kick you from the game.
This means that you cannot loot by switching to native mouse input.

P.S. Many users note that version 9.3.2 works more stably with Apex Legends.
