Hi. I am making a "gesture" on my mouse. In order to work how I want to I made it like this:
X2 mouse button on HOLD - Go to shift layer 1
On Shift Layer 1:
- I remapped directions to virtual controller's RIGHT STICK (I used Virtual SWITCH Pro one)
- I then MUTED and went to Advanced and mapped each UP,DOWN,LEFT,RIGHT to my desired keys/combo.
My issue:
This is working fine as expected, EXCEPT it makes a virtual controller for no reason (all that I map are keyboard keys), because I have to remap the mouse movements to a virtual STICK first.
Now my system sees a second controller that I don't need, cause some games will see a controller connected. Even steam notifies me that I connected a Nintendo controller.
Actually idk why there are 2 Nintendo controllers connected, maybe because i have multiple shift layers that use the same remap to "RIGHT stick" feature?
I wonder if there is another way, or why can't the mouse MOVEMENTS be remapped to a virtual mouse or even to "itself"?
In my case it seems that this flow: mouse->to virtual controller ->back to mouse/keys are just extra steps.
For now I am using the HidHide software to hide the virtual ones, will see if I have issues.
Thank You.
