  • reWASD + reWASD Basic: Toggle Windows On-screen Windows Keyboard

When I used reWASD previously, I set a combo key to activate the Windows on-screen Keyboard, within my dedicated Windows Shift Layer. I have since uninstalled reWASD and switched over to reWASD Basic, and since there is no dedicated 'Show Keyboard' option in the mapping menus, I have lost the ability to pop-up the on-screen keyboard for input - since there is no dedicated option for this in the mapping menu. I do think that an option for 'Toggle Windows Keyboard' should be present s a mappable action, in both reWASD regular and Basic. This enables us to enter text using the Windows keyboard on occasion, which I find better to use and less limited than the Steam keyboard (especially with a 'Dualpakka' Gyro config).

The combo to activate / deactivate this on-screen keyboard in Windows is: Windows Key + CTRL + O (see image below)

Additionally, when I previously had programmed this combo, I added a 50ms vibration at the end to receive haptic feedback upon activating the keyboard. While my primary feature request here is just for the ability to activate the keyboard hotkey through a standard selectable mapping input, I think the option to add a haptic feedback vibration for any mapping in both reWASD / reWASD Basic would be nice as well.

Hi. We currently have no plans to expand the functionality of reWASD Basic. Furthermore, reWASD Basic is a simplified version of reWASD, so it's expected that some features are not available. This is by design.
