  • Tray agent crash after waking from sleep

I have had this random crashing when PC wakes from sleep.

The tray icon looks normal but the controller won't respond. When I move the mouse over to the tray icon it vanishes.

I haven't been able to replicate this but it still happens quite often (maybe every 5th waking process) and probably more often the longer the sleep time is.

This was an issue with the earlier build and now persists on 5.6.0.

I have this error from Windows Reliability Monitor.

    Hello,

    Strange...

Does it sleep mode or hibernate? What are Sleep mode settings? What devices are connected before sleep mode? Are mappings active when the PC goes to sleep?
    Don't worry! Be Happy!

I had Hybrid Sleep on and the following devices connected:

      - Logitech G915 keyboard and Razer Naga Pro mouse both with USB-dongle.
      - Asus Bluetooth receiver
      - Some generic USB hub
      - Xbox Elite 2 controller with a USB dongle.

There is a desktop mouse profile on my gamepad and some keyboard keys switched with Rewasd profiles
and these are on when my PC goes to sleep.

        Hi there,

        1. I think we need some logs to collect. This manual link, tracetext logs for DTAgent.exe. Create shortcut -> set a command - > launch the tray using a modified shortcut, reproduce steps you usually do before sleep, like active mapping, devices that are connected, etc. Send us an archive you may find in a provided directory.

        2. Hybrid Sleep mode. Does the problem persist when it's OFF? Set sleep or hibernate mode only and try to reproduce the issue again.
        Don't worry! Be Happy!

I finally reproduced this issue with -tractext app. Where should I send the log?

And it happens with or without Hybrid sleep.

            Hi there.

What is the archive size? Is it possible to attach it here?

Sorry, it was 172 kb so it wouldn't upload.
