I have a group that consists of a Xbox Elite Series 2 controller + a Brook Xone adapter in PS4 mode. When using the Elite controller on its own I can use profile switch button to select slots, but this appears to be non-functional when the controller is part of a group with other devices. Is there anything that can be done to enable this functionality to allow the Elite profile switch to control the slots for the group?

This is a tricky question, we will need to re-check it with a team.
The slot switcher is designed for one controller only, while in reWASD, you can switch the slots for a group (or a single device) using the hotkeys. It is an interesting idea to use the hardware switcher in this case, so we will think what is possible to do here. Thank you for the suggestion. -

We are happy to announce that since newly released reWASD 5.8 version, you are able to switch the slot of the group with Elite controller with a hardware switcher.
