Unable to install

I was having trouble where xbox controller was not being recognized all of a sudden. I attempted to uninstall and reinstall. On the install it fails. When viewing reWASDInstaller TextTrace text file it is blank. Any assistance is appreciated.

Please try to install the latest build from the site.

If this does not help, then please send the event logs:
1. Press Windows button, type [Event Viewer], press Enter.
2. Choose [Windows Logs] in the upper left corner, then choose [Application].
3. Check out the panel on the right side: there's a [Find] option. Click it, and type "reWASD" to search for related errors.
4. Once you find one or multiple events, please right-click and "Save selected events..." on every one of them, and send the file(s).

There should be another report related to this, which mentions .NET Framework, not far from the one you have posted.

I couldn't find any reference to .net framework. I saved the entire event list though. Maybe this will help? I am using Windows 11 which was recently upgraded. Never had any problems in Windows 10 and it initially worked fine after the upgrade.

Thank you for the logs. It looks like this is a system error. Try following this guide to fix it.

Also disable your antivirus before installing reWASD.

i got this error after installing ReWasd and trying to launch it at the first time

Do the following:
- Uninstall reWASD with the "Remove my settings and activation info" option enabled.
- Restart your PC.
- Manually download and install these two packages: [ASP.NET Core 7.0 Runtime]and [.NET 7.0 Desktop Runtime]
- Temporarily disable your firewall and anti-virus apps so they will not interfere with our installer.
- Download and install the latest version of reWASD from our website
- Restart your PC again.
- Run reWASD as Administrator.
