What is the correct way to understand this setting?

    For example, in this case

[Deflection] values set the area of possible stick values the virtual controller will be using. The [Response graph], which is a mouse-speed-to-stick-deflection ratio, will be scaled to that area, so this interpretation is incorrect at its core.

With [Deflection] values like on your screenshot and default [Response curve], any mouse movement will deflect the stick to at least ~20%, but will never go over ~80%.

Slope of response curve = speed at which the stick falls

The faster the stick tilts, the more sensitive the game will be.

      Is this also wrong?
      Sorry for not understanding

The X-axis would be the mouse speed, and the Y-axis for the curve depends on how fast the movement should be emulated.
