Failed to install with Error: -1

Hello,

I'm encountering the "Failed to install with error: 1" issue when trying to install ReWASD. I've already tried reinstalling at least 10 times, with both antivirus and firewall disabled, but the error persists.

I have ASP.NET Core 8.0.4 Runtime and .NET 8.0.4 Desktop Runtime installed, and they are both up to date.

I came across another post (https://forum.rewasd.com/forum/rewas...l-with-error-1) where a moderator suggested some steps to resolve this issue, including reinstalling, disabling antivirus, and installing the required runtimes. I followed all of the instructions, but unfortunately, none of them worked.

In the Event Viewer, the only logs I see related to ReWASD are, and unfortunately I cannot link the .evtx file as an attachment for some reason:
Creation of a restore point
A crash from the Uninstaller (which I will link below).

Please let me know if there are any other troubleshooting steps or logs that could help resolve this problem.

When you got the Error: -1 message, please open Services, find the gamepad controller mapping service, and right mouse click and check if the service is running. Please run it manually if it's stopped. Are there any error messages popping up after manually starting? Please take the screenshot of them.

I am in a similar situation. When I start the service, I get the following error:
