  • Combo break toggle loops - easier methods?

    Requirement/use case:
(Current setup: physical ps5 controller + keyboard input --- remapped to virtual Xbox 360 output)
I would like to have a single-button toggle that automatically loops these two combos without recording an overly complicated series of button presses (half the combo is roughly ~2k presses, which freezes reWASD on my system). The game has an activity ~1-2 minutes in duration requiring combo #1 (activity completion combo). At the end of the activity, you must loop around in a circle to collect the rewards. To do so, combo #1 (activity combo) must be stopped and then a second combo, combo #2 (collection combo), is started to do the collection process. After collection, combo #2 (collection) must be stopped, and combo #1 (activity) must begin again to repeat this process.

Essentially, combo #1 (activity) will run on an indefinite oop for 1-2 minutes, then it will stop/pause, permitting combo #2 (collection) to work uninterrupted (~30 seconds duration).
    Current, but problematic, solutions:
#1: Create a single combo w/ pauses mimicking two separate combos:
    - Example: [abcd][abcd][abcd]... (~120 seconds), [up, down, left, right] (~30 seconds) --- total combo duration 150 seconds, toggled
    - pros: single combo, single key assignment, easy to setup
    - cons: nearly impossible to edit given the large volume of keystrokes (2,000+ entries), very little fine-tuning, reWASD crashes due to high volume of entries

    #2: Two key assignment combo:
    - Key 1 combo ex
    : [abcd][abcd]... (~120 seconds), [PAUSE ~30 seconds] ---- total combo duration 150 seconds, toggled
    - Key 2 combo ex: [PAUSE ~120 seconds], [up, down, left, right] (~30 seconds) ---- total combo duration 150 seconds, toggled
    - pros: easy to edit, quick setup, reduces overall entries to less than 100 total
    - cons: requires two key assignments, less seamless flow from one combo to the other due to human error in activation

    Ideal, if possible, solution:
Concept: Utilization of a combo break, but somehow toggle the combo break to be automated without human input. Aka, have the combo break in timed intervals without human input:
Ex: [abcd][abcd]... [toggle], combo break at 120 seconds, [up, down, left, right], combo break after 30 seconds ---- toggling this automated combo break

Please let me know if I'm making this overly complicated and if a much easier solution exists. All advice is welcomed as I am still learning this software.

    ~Thanks so much!

    Hey there!

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a more convenient way to implement this within a single button.
Configuring such combos always requires constant interaction with the app in which they will be used, as without this interaction, their setup may be incorrect.

We also cannot guarantee the proper functioning of combos that involve a large number of actions.
