  • Gyro Drift in both Vader 3P and Vader 4P

I just upgraded to the V4P thinking that I could get rid of the slight gyro drift (all directions) at times. However, I have the same issue with the V4P.

While I imagine that this is a hardware issue, is there anything that REWASD may be able to do (even in a future build) to mitigate this issue?

    Hi!

The gyro drift you’re experiencing with both Vader 3P and 4P is likely a hardware-related issue, as it is often caused by internal sensor calibration. However, reWASD provides some tools and suggestions that might help mitigate the issue:
    1. Calibrate the Controller:
      • Check if your Vader 4P has a built-in calibration feature for the gyroscope. Many controllers offer this option, and it may help reduce the drift.
    2. Calibrate the Gyroscope in reWASD:
      • Use the Gyroscope Calibration option to adjust and stabilize the gyroscope sensor directly within the app.
    3. Adjust Sensitivity:
      • In reWASD, you can also tweak the sensitivity and deadzone settings for the gyroscope to minimize unintended movements.

You can find step-by-step instructions for configuring gyroscope settings in this helpful guide.

Thanks for your response. It appears that REWASD does not have the calibrate option for the V4P, but I will look into the other suggestions.

The simple way to calibrate gyro drift on Flydigi controller is just to put it on the table and don't touch for a couple of seconds - it will autocalibrate automatically.
