  • RMB to LT works, but LMB+RT combo makes ADS snap down

    Hi

Running into something odd with rewasd and hoping someone can help me figure this out. The goal is to map right mouse button to the controllers left trigger for ADS, and map left mouse button to the controllers right trigger for fire, then layer some small stick movements while holding fire. RMB to LT by itself works fine, but once LMB to RT + stick combo kicks in, things get wonky. I instantly get snapped downward to the ground. What could be the causing this?

For a little more info I'm not trying to emulate the full controller to my M&K. I still want to use M&K but since rewads doesn't support mouse movements for now when making combos I'm using the controller stick movements and triggers instead.

    Hello.

Please send me the config you are using. Your configs are stored here: C:\Users\Public\Documents\reWASD\Profiles
I need the correspondent *.rewasd file.

Here goes the files, this is what happens in more detail. If I'm not moving my mouse before I hold down the RMB and LMB the combo works fine BUT I can no longer use any mouse movements during this time. However if I'm moving my mouse before I hold down the RMB and LMB I instantly get snapped down to the ground. The only work around I have found is to emulate the mouse movement to the right joystick but the movement isn't very fluid at all to me, is laggy, less responsive and less precise compared to using my native mouse movements.

So what I'm trying to achieve is to be able to use some stick movements when holding the RMB and LMB while still being able to use my native mouse movements.

This is probably where the stumbling block lies.
Games don't like it when two inputs are mixed: keyboard and mouse buttons and a controller.
Constantly switching inputs can cause frame drops and strange behavior (as in your case).

Therefore, you need to either fully emulate the controller using keyboard and mouse buttons plus mouse movements, or use only keyboard and mouse mappings.
