  • The remapping button does not press.

I'm using the ElitePad 2, and it connects just fine. It works too! But the remapping button won't press. The red square area does press, but it doesn't activate.

    Hello.

Could you record a short video of yourself trying to apply a config using "Apply to slot"?

The button does get pressed, but it... doesn't turn green. It's recognized and moves. It just doesn't apply...

        Hey there.

Please go to Preferences and perform Clear data.

Also, please try reinstalling reWASD by following these steps:
        • Uninstall reWASD with the "Remove my settings and activation info" option enabled.
        • Restart your PC.
        • Manually delete or rename the c:\ProgramData\Disc-Soft\reWASD folder.
        • Download and install these two packages: ASP.NET Core 9.0.10 Runtime and .NET 9.0.10 Desktop Runtime.
        • Temporarily disable your firewall and anti-virus apps so they will not interfere with our installer.
        • Download and install the latest version of reWASD from our website or your personal account.
        • Restart your PC again.
        • Start reWASD.

It still isn't working... I have no idea what the problem is... I guess the only option is to reinstall Windows...

Please collect the logs by following these steps:
            1. Run reWASD as an administrator.
            2. Go to Preferences and start log collection by selecting Standard logging with Service/Driver and GUI/Agent logs.
            3. Click the Start log button to begin collecting logs.
            4. Try applying the configuration by clicking the Apply to slot button.
            5. Go back to Preferences and click Stop log.
            6. In the message that appears, click Open file location, find the most recently created archive, and send it to us.
If you accidentally close the message, you can still find the archive in: C:\Users\Public\Documents\reWASD\Logs

reWASD is unable to start the [rewasdcompiler] component due to the "Access denied" error.
This suggests that your current Windows account doesn't have sufficient access rights for the file.

Close reWASD and its Tray Agent, then restart the app as Administrator to check if that fixes the issue.

If the previously provided steps didn't help and you're unable to obtain the necessary permissions for your Windows account to get the logs, then the only solution we can recommend is reinstalling the OS. Thank you for your understanding.
