I too would like to deactivate toggles based on alternative inputs. For example, I set my A button to repeat press in a combo with toggle enabled. When I go into my select menu without turning it off it causes all kinds of problems. I would like to disable the A button toggle whenever I either hit the A button again or push the select menu button.

We have this in our plans, but it is still difficult to talk about the approximate timing of implementation.

However, your vote has been taken into account. Thank you for your suggestion.

Hi, this is a function I miss from all the native software I'm using and it would be a very appreciated one. Is there any news about it? I'm trying the demo and from what I see it seems it is still not possible to do it.

          Thank you.

(OP here) I understand why this feature is still being researched by users after all those years. In any FPS where you can scope/zoom, that would be a game changer in terms of comfort. Only having to long press aim button once (often an LT back controller button), it goes into scope, then no need to stay pressed on it, we can aim as long as we want while it stays in scope. As soon as we touch any other button (except from moving and shooting obviously) it would automatically unscope. It would save players from hours and hours of needlessly pressing against the zoom button and would avoid many cramps to our fingers. Great QoL that would be. Dunno if it's technically possible, but hopefully one day.
